Update: Disney Dream cruise ship arrives at Port Canaveral, Florida (see AquaDuck video)
There are only 160 days left before the launch of Disney Dream, Disney Cruise Line just announced on their Facebook page. The finishing touches are currently being put on Disney Dream that will start sailing on January 26, 2011. The majestic and elegant ship is being built in Papenburg, Germany, in the classic style of the previous 2 ships, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. Disney Dream will have a capacity for over 5000 people, 14 towering decks and will feature AquaDuck, the very first water coaster at sea.
Disney Dream was specially designed with families in mind, and will have both youth clubs and pools and elegant adults-only dining areas and nightclubs that will fill the parent's nights at sea with live music, dancing and socializing.
A bronze statue of Admiral Donald will welcome everyone on board, evoking feelings of adventure and sophistication that can be found throughout the ship. Once again Disney makes it fun for both adults and children!
