As part of our 1 month InterRail trip through Europe, we spent 3 beautiful days in Bergen, as Guests of Honor of Bergen Tourism Board. During this period, we literally took thousands of photos, but after a quick look, these are our favorite so far.

ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic photos of Bergen. If these are the favorites after a "quick look," I can't wait to see what other hidden gems you'll find!

ReplyDeleteI visited Bergen last year and it's great to reminisce on a great trip by looking at these photos of places I recognise. Beautiful city, I loved it!

ReplyDeleteLovely! stunning pictures.. I also love Bergen!
ReplyDeleteWow. Wow. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSeems to be a great place to visit. The pictures are really awesome. Scandinavian region is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in the world.
ReplyDeleteWow fabulous photos... Very interesting... I like to visit this place one day. In March 2012 we had been to Sherbrooke of Quebec for vacation and had our accommodation in Hotel Le President… and had been to Parc National du Mont Oxford, Golf club and many more beautiful locations… very memorable
ReplyDeleteI love Bergens old wooden houses.... so cute
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!! The first pic is breathtaking! I want one of those mini vikings for my souvenir collection! :)
ReplyDeleteWe were just in Bergen as a stop on our Holland America cruise around Norway. Spent $20 on a bowl of soup in the fish market (I guess that was our authentic Norway experience...everything was SOOO expensive there!)
ReplyDeleteI am glad we went on a cruise...if we had not been eating and sleeping on the ship I am not sure if we could have afforded to go.
Beautiful photos, thanks for sharing!
I live in Bergen, and it's nice to see you tourists enjoy Bergen.
ReplyDeletePeople in Bergen are proud about living in the most beautiful city in bergen;)
Thanks for a very nice review from Bergen!
For other people who wanna go, bring your hiking shoes if you like hiking. There's 7 mountains surrounding the city, and all of them are very popular to hike.
In the end of may it's the official 7-mountain trip where almost 10 000 people, from kindergarden kids to pensionists, walk the 7 mountains on one day. Lovely (but heavy) trip.
To Shanna Schultz: Bergen, and Norway in general is expensive, but if you go to ultratourist places like the fish market an buy food, of course it's expensive. If you look up places before you go, you can find cheaper places though.
If anybody wants more information of "hidden treasures" in Bergen, just send me a message on facebook:)
